Mixed Media Projects **session fee & registration required**
Limited Capacity filling up

This session is designed as a “creativity challenge”. Versatile oil pastels, acrylics, watercolors, and different types of papers are used to inspire and create differentiated art projects. The techniques presented (creating textures, blending colors, creating new colors and using a solvent) can be easily modified for all grade levels. Cross-curricular connections are enhanced and addressed to support differentiated learning styles and ability levels. The session fee is $10 (cash only) and all take home supplies are included.

Canadian Landscape à la Ted Harrison **session fee & registration required**

For those who love Canada’s North, Ted Harrison is a MUST. His use of vibrant colours and bold lines made him a favourite artist among Canadian students. With the help of chalk-, oil pastels, and mixed media, 3 beautiful sceneries will come to life. The level of difficulty can be adjusted according to the grade level taught. Participants will be provided with a set of handouts and a PowerPoint presentation (bring your own USB stick) that can be used directly in their art classrooms. Open to art and general teachers of grades 4- 10. All supplies provided by the instructor. $10 (cash only)registration fee.
