In 2015 the Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory (LIGO) detected gravitational waves emitted by the merger of two black holes 1.3 billion years ago. Dion was lucky enough to participate and present at the first International Physics and Astronomy Educator Program at LIGO Hanford. Come learn a little about gravitational waves and leave with some hands on activities to do with your physics students.
